Coordination of policy, advocacy and education activities at VSFB. In charge of policy-influencing at the national (Belgian) and European level to create an enabling environment for smallholder livestock keeping according to a One Health approach. Also in charge of networking and capacity reinforcement of mainly pastoralist CSO's in Eastern and Western Africa. Coordination of education activities with agronomy and veterinarian universities and university colleges in Belgium, bot in Flanders and Wallonia.
Education and Policy Officer at Vétérinaires Sans Frontières Belgium. Responsible for a DEVCO funded program that aims to raise awareness with students, livestock keepers, politicians and consumers on the importance of small scale livestock farming in the fight against climate change and for food sovereignty.
Coordination of CELEP, developing an advocacy strategy and lobby activitities. Raising awareness on pastoralism in Eastern Africa with EU institutions. www.celep.info
