About

Hi, welcome at my profile! Note: please do not send a link request to me without a message about why you are linking. THANK YOU. A bit more about me: We record podcast interviews with people who are putting money to work in regenerative food and agriculture, people (farmers, fund managers, investment managers, investors). People who are restoring soil at a large scale while generating a fair return. All podcasts can be found where ever you listen to your podcasts: https://investinginregenerativeagriculture.com/posts/ https://podfollow.com/investing-in-regenerative-agriculture-and-food/view I work one day a week as a manager at www.toniic.com, a global non-profit community of active impact investors. As part of my role, I facilitate the Regen Ag and Food working group within Toniic. We released video course to help investors, entrepreneurs and people working in big food and ag understand the basics of regeneration and what they can build, work on or invest in, €250 but accessible to all:  https://foodhub.nl/en/opleidingen/your-path-forward-in-regenerative-food-and-agriculture/ Personally we have been investing into companies when we see potential in the regenerative space. Always a small amount (but a lot to us) 2k-5k into companies like Vence (exited), Meridia, the Future Forest Company, Steward etc. Since March 2022 together with Naeem Lakhani of The First Thirty (www.TFT.vc) we started a syndicate Generation-Re investing alongside us into exciting deals. We are trying to make it as inclusive and accessible as possible, and managed to keep our minimum ticket to join a deal at €/$/£1k. We have invested in companies like NoFence, Grounded Ingredients, Undo, Collie, Antler Bio, Wild Farmed, Cairnspring mills, Juntos, Ruumi, Tree Range Farms, Permanent, PES technologies, Rhizocore, RegenRate. More information and how to apply here: https://gen-re.land/ Former positions/jobs: - One of the three co-founders at www.StoryTravelers.com, combining Online Visual Storytelling and Social Media for the sustainable tourism market. - Deal analyst, co-created the deal flow pipeline at Aqua-Spark (www.aqua-spark.nl Toniic member), were we scouted and selected investments which could reduce the pressure on the oceans with a sound business model. Sustainable fish farming, insects, sustainable feed, shellfish, algae, ocean based bio medicines etc.! - In 2008, I was the first intern at the founding team of the Impact Hub Milan (http://milan.impacthub.net/) This is me, I'm interested in your story so send me a message! Many thanks and have a nice day, Koen

I always had issues explaining regenerative agriculture to investors who I work with through Toniic, so at some point in 2016 I started recording those conversations and interviews as something to share with investors specifically focused on the question of how to put money to work in regenerative agriculture while getting a fair return back; that was still the big question back then
