Feb-March 2024: Consulted an IT services scale up in Sri Lanka, defining its purpose & brand as well as advised on export strategy into the EU market. March-June 2021: Remote coaching of an Peruvian company in support of its repositioning in the b2b segment of the IT components market. Jan 2018: Consulted a pan-African provider of Human Capital Services in South Africa on repositioning itself from an NGO to a commercial enterprise. Feb 2016: Advised a government owned trade fairs company in Cabo Verde on their growth strategy options. July 2013: Executed a mission in Palestine, to help an importer of medical equipment & pharmaceuticals to enhance their marketing efforts, a.o. by adopting a customer relationship management approach.

Leadership development in communications and public affairs.
With two fellow coordinators, I organized two sessions a year for the Dutch members of the EACD. The subject matter and speakers differ per session, but always include the international dimension. The format was simpele: short presentations with a concluding debate and ample time for socializing among peers.
I taught Corporate Communications at NextCommunication, a Post Higher Vocational Education course. In my lectures, which form part of the strategy sessions, I discussed corporate branding and reputation management as a platform for developing a corporate communications strategy and designing a communications function. I also served as Chairman of the Examination Board of NextCommunication.
