Under my lead, Vantiva set ambitious targets and developed concrete plans to reduce our carbon footprint (all scopes, including Net Zero). Leading and driving global sustainability activities for Technicolor Connected Home. Through initiatives across the product lifecycle of our complete portfolio, we decrease the ecological impact of our devices, helping our customers to reach their sustainability targets. This also improves our own sustainability performance - we want to lead the market in the sustainability domain and demonstrate this ambition through objective performance indicators and third party recognition. The Platinum Score from ECOVadis, positioning us within the top 1% performers in our industry, already illustrates that our efforts are recognized - but there are still a lot of challenges to tackle.

I headed a team of regulatory experts, managing and coordinating the regulatory files of our retail and wholesale activities to the interest of the Belgacom Group. Main accomplishments: delayed decrease of fixed and mobile termination rates avoiding 8mio€ per year EBIT erosion, successful implementation of certified VDSL CPE and positive outcome of pricing study conducted for the Federal Minister of Economy.
Financial and business assessment of strategic projects and M&A files. Development of long term vision and long term financial planning of Belgacom. Main accomplishments: Triggered and led acquisition of Scarlet (2008, 185 mio€) (strategic rationale and business case creation, lead over technical due diligence, non-legal lead for discussions with Competition Authorities). Strategy lead and lead over technical due diligence for acquisition of Tango (2008, 207 mio€) Strategy lead for several other M&A files. Strategy lead for acquisition of 4G licenses and Belgian football broadcasting rights. Strategy lead for 500mio€ investment in VDSL network.
