Engineer role in the Drive & Control group of the equipment department of GustoMSC. Currently working on the development of two heavy lifting cranes for windmill installation at sea.
Designed a smart warehouse capable of storing, scanning, stacking and lifting Bins of differ- ent sizes as well as interfacing with Prodrive’s AGV and machinery. Currently finishing the electromechanical design, including the selection and implementation of sensors, actuators and auxiliary electronic and mechanic components.
Developed a DQ controller for a Brushless DC motor to use on a newly developed mo- tor drive. Work included the implementation and testing of the developed controller. After successful implementation, a motion controller was designed to realize the desired motion requirements for the different functions of the AGV (autonomous driving, payload handling).
Conducted research into the sources of vibration of an innovative ropeless elevator, “MULTI”, developed by Thyssenkrupp and Prodrive Technologies. Obtained a better understanding of the system, improved the control and sensor principle, and achieved a reduction of the vibration of 80%. Finished a master of science in the field of mechatronic systems with a thesis based on this research.
Helped students solving problems in the thermodynamics and dynamics seminars. Also guided them through the Matlab introduction course of Mechanical and Maritime Engineering.
As an experienced teacher for Inwijs, I became part of a team responsible for the selection and training of new employees. Selection days consisted of a preliminary interview followed by an interactive basic and advanced training. The training focused on didactic and presentation skills.
I have executed a variety of tasks at different high schools and universities, including teaching at high school and tutoring students.
