Lead mechanical design, manufacturing, and product development for aerospace and medical RF/microwave subcomponents, progressing from co-op intern to lead over 5+ years. Ran thermal CFD analysis in ANSYS to optimize a high-pressure multi-outlet cooling nozzle for a thermally demanding production process; validated experimentally, 3D-printed the prototype, and deployed in production. Designed and built an in-house thermal test chamber including heating loop integration, instrumentation, control logic, and thermal cycling capability for reliability validation. Designed and built a custom anechoic chamber (1–32 GHz) and precision XY gantry system with rotary actuator (0.001″ linear / 0.1° angular accuracy) for automated RF and satellite antenna feed testing — eliminating reliance on external test facilities. Design RF subcomponents, waveguide assemblies, diplexer cavities, and antenna feeds in SolidWorks and Creo, applying GD&T and DFMA — including sheet metal enclosures, structural brackets, die-cast components, and full BOM generation. Contributed as mechanical consultant for design and control of a novel planetary gear CVT for electric bicycles using a planetary gear system.
