About

Holding a PhD in philosophy from Sorbonne University in Paris, I’m an academic, public speaker, writer, critic and curator with a focus on understanding the impact of AI in art & society. In this quest, I have founded the “Vienna Conversations on AI”, where I speak with experts from different domains. Understanding the power of art to foster insights, I’ve not only curated art shows, but also regularly activated art in domains beyond art. I've thus worked with engineers on divergence and spoken about vulnerability with doctors, essentially showing art. I’ve curated exhibitions in Austria, Germany and France, with a focus on accessible complexity and facilitated workshops for over a decade. Before developing my focus on AI, I studied narrative and its impact from a narratological perspective during my PhD (Sorbonne). Apart from my full honors thesis on visual storytelling, I've published a book on Open Innovation with Dunod and contributed to many others. I've contributed most-read texts to InnovationManagement.se, Innovation Excellence or Spike and written for the F.A.Z., Der Standard, Centre Pompidou, Schirn Kunsthalle, MUMOK, Belvedere and magazines like Parnass, Art Newspaper and The Brooklyn Rail. My postdoc project (Vienna University) was a study on visual storytelling with 232 participants. Some of my exhibition curations are "Narrating narrativity" at Krinzinger Vienna; "Drawing after Digital" at XPO Gallery Paris & (as a co-curator) "Show me your wound", "Fragile creation", “Being mortal” & “In the Spirit of Friendship” at Dom Museum Wien in Vienna. I teach at University for Applied Arts, Vienna, Berlin Art Institute and ICN Business School Paris. Get in touch so we can create something together!

I have helped companies understand the stories their employees told about the transitions to write a common story that drives engagement through authenticity, I've developed elevator pitchs, presentations for investors and customers, (re)written corporate stories, developed content strategies, contributions to industry publications, talks at trade shows, booths that were only 2 square meters and co-authored three manifestos. I have also helped managers to find the true customer benefit, names, claims, and taught them how to address their ideal users through storytelling.
