About

Professional Experience: With over 20 years of experience in various industries, I have primarily focused on IT software project and program management. With a recent shift towards program-account management. As an avid enthusiast and coach of Agile/Lean/Scrum methodologies, I firmly believe that there is no one-size-fits-all project management approach. Instead, I advocate for a flexible and adaptable blend of methods that align with the maturity and culture of the organization at hand. Recognizing the significance of effective communication, I am fluent in Spanish and English, with German being my native language. This linguistic proficiency has provided me with exposure to diverse cultures throughout my life. Having resided in Ireland for 4 years, followed by 6 years in Spain, 7 years in Mexico, and currently in Barcelona, Spain, I have developed an awareness of cultural nuances and the importance of cross-cultural collaboration. In my roles, I always encourage team members to challenge the status quo and foster an environment conducive to innovation. By empowering individuals to question existing processes and think creatively, I strive to drive continuous improvement and inspire breakthrough solutions. Overall, my extensive experience, combined with a passion for Agile methodologies and a commitment to effective communication and innovation, has equipped me to navigate complex projects and deliver successful outcomes in dynamic and diverse environments.

Development and evolution of 2 websites, based one Liferay as CMS and Alfresco as content base. One site for teacher, and the other one mainly for students (LMS). Linked to these 2 websites are MicroStrategy as DWH and Salesforce as CRM. Transformation from waterfall to agile using Jira agile as supporting tool. Jack of all trades... Project management with agile connotations, Jira Admin (incl. Greenhopper), at times release manager, at times QA engineer (SOAP UI), at times product manager (managing parts of the product backlog in Jira), managing outsorced developers, and at times also doing project management the old fashioned way (from requirements to risk analysis to weekly reporting). Sometimes it felt like working in a startup - in a good sense :-)
