My background spans applied AI in retail, supply chain, and digital health—from preventing diabetes through data-driven interventions to delivering real-world ML systems for hospitals, insurers, and retailers. This work ultimately led me to the founding team of the ETH AI Center, where we built one of Europe’s strongest AI ecosystems. Today, we bring that experience to startups and scale-ups across DACH and Europe, using AI and deep market insight to help fast-growing tech companies build world-class teams.
Co-founded and scaled Rockstar Recruiting, building AI-powered products that modernize how tech companies hire: - Agentification of Workflows - Product development for InstaHire.jobs (AI CV screening and matching) - Turning SwissDevJobs into Switzerland’s most transparent and data-driven tech job board - Contributing to the development of TalentRoom.com, the first recruiter-to-recruiter ATS. Built strong partnerships across the ecosystem—including the ETH AI Center, Greater Zurich Area, leading VCs, and high-growth startups in AI, Deep Tech, and Web3—while driving innovation, GTM execution, and talent strategies for fast-scaling engineering and AI teams across DACH. Led the agentification and automation of internal workflows to accelerate operational efficiency.
First employee at the ETH AI Center. Built the framework together with Alexander Ilic, Andreas Krause and team to scale the ETH AI Center to 1,500+ researchers, driving strategic AI partnerships with industry partners, multi-year collaboration frameworks, and talent programs; oversaw technical reviews, compliance, and reproducibility for late-breaking AI research, and organized the first AI+X Summit, Switzerland’s largest AI event with 2,000+ attendees.
Overseeing strategy, budgets, fundraising, and industry partnerships for the Auto-ID Labs. Grew consulting and research revenues, secured multi-partner funding, and expanded the lab’s digital-health and retail-AI portfolio with companies like GS1, Leonteq, Viseca, Valora, Migros, Coop, Microsoft, Inselspital, Helsana, Sanitas, and Diabetes Center Berne.
Conducted applied AI and computer-vision research in digital health and retail, developing ML pipelines, digital biomarkers, and mixed-reality interfaces for real-world deployments. Built retail logitics, customer analytics and behavior change intervention models, and IoT data pipelines used in collaborations and implementations with GS1, Helsana, Sanitas, Migros, Coop, Microsoft, Inselspital, and Diabetes Center Berne. Worked closely with clinicians, engineers, and industry partners to translate research prototypes into real-world pilot and production.
External advisor on a retail analytics LOI/projects on AI-driven real-time anomaly detection within retail logistics / traceability for a large national Swiss retailer. Led the pitch and PMO for the Azure-based EPCIS/SAP integration, enabling end-to-end supply-chain visibility and operational intelligence. Worked with stakeholders to scope and deploy ML use cases.
Early employee at a deep-tech big data company providing telecom-grade, privacy-preserving geospatial analytics. Delivered national-scale mobility and public-health insights by coordinating cross-functional engineering teams and working directly with enterprise and government stakeholders. Led projects using anonymized geo-location data for rail operators, media groups, and marketers; contributed to product scoping and deployment for telecom partners across Europe and Asia. Co-led ISO 27001 certification and supported multiple successful national tender submissions.
