Klaus Eberhard leads Egon Zehnder’s Stuttgart office. He advises industrial companies on leadership and governance across the future infrastructure landscape – from net‑zero construction and industrial value chains to technological disruption in energy, mobility, and critical infrastructure. His work centers on the building materials and construction-related industries, including materials, machinery, and industrial solutions that enable sustainable infrastructure. In addition, he has extensive experience advising on the appointment of top executives as well as supervisory and advisory boards in technology‑driven companies and Deep Tech scale‑ups, including electric mobility, charging infrastructure, battery technologies, eVTOL, and fusion energy. He supports clients in building leadership teams and governance structures capable of translating technological innovation into tangible climate impact in fast‑moving, innovation‑driven environments. Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, he served as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in Stuttgart and Vienna, working on strategy, organization, and transformation projects in the automotive, machinery, and defense sectors. He holds a BA in Business Administration and an MA in Strategy and International Management from the University of St. Gallen and completed a PhD (Dr. rer. pol.) at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
