Competence – Success Factors: Under my leadership the unit Plasma Technology expanded from a small service team with 5 employees to the leading player within Bosch for plasma-based wear protection coatings. Following skills can describe my way of operation in this context: Responsibility - Entrepreneurship - Establishing job coating at Robert Bosch Manufacturing Solutions with focus on complex components and critical coating processes - Contracting a new business model with an external cooperation partner to run our workshop with competitive costs Business Development - Establishment of a development and coating location in China to ensure the presence in this growing market - Entering in external market with job coating and sale of coating machines R&D - Strategy - Portfolio expansion with nanocomposites and nitrides for wear protection - Establishing tool coating as an additional product line - Initiating the development of coatings for fuel cell and electromobility - Connectivity & smart production for coating centers as new product - Takeover and bundling of Bosch development resources for plasma coating process Leadership - High employee satisfaction and very low fluctuation - Empowering of developments by PHD projects
