If there is one thing I have learned from my many experiences over the past 24 years at Cisco, it’s this: work hard for your employees and your customers, success is inevitable. Sounds simple, but I experienced it to be true. Working hard is largely about how you show up every day and the character that you bring to the task at hand. For my team ― I aspire to be their best coach and mentor but also to learn and grow as we build something great together. That greatness is built on trust, and trust comes only by doing what I am asking of my team. In my current role as a Global Sales Manager for Cisco’s remote Asia Pacific business, I lead a team of Global Account Managers that partner with country leaders who do business with the top electronics, financial services, auto manufacturers and service providers around the world. My team’s goal is to enable double digit growth in support of these customers helping them to solve some of their most complex problems through the use of technology.
