As a mathematician specializing in optimization, I am stranded in the automotive industry, where I have been driving modeling, (ECU) simulation, software-in-the-loop, cloud and artificial intelligence for over 15 years. Since the beginning of the hype around autonomous driving, I have been in the middle of it, e.g. in the steering committees of the funding projects PEGASUS and VVMethoden. Since then, I have been more involved with the topics of digital twin, sensor simulation, test methodologies and homologation. Oh yes, and I love to give talks ;-)
