VMP – A Leading European CNC Machining Specialist for High-Precision Gear Components in the Energy Sector Since 2004, VMP has delivered CNC machining services for more than 45,000 high-precision components ranging from 2 to 8 tons and up to dimensions of 3000 x 2000 x 1800 mm, with tolerances down to 1/100 mm. We specialize in CNC machining of high-precision gearbox components for the wind industry, jack-up systems for the offshore sector, gear housings for biomass plants, base pans for homogenizing systems, and many other large-scale components for the machinery industry. Since 2006, VMP has been a key supplier of gear components to the wind energy sector, currently delivering approximately 3,000 gear components annually. To support this, we hold all relevant certifications and systems required for the wind and offshore industries, including VDA 6.3 audit compliance and ISO 9001:2008 certification. Over the years, we have invested DKK 140 million in state-of-the-art production equipment. Our facility includes advanced FMS cells with up to six high-precision machines and 22 pallets capable of handling loads of 6–8 tons. Our quality assurance is supported by one of Denmark’s largest Wenzel 3D measuring machines, capable of measuring components up to 3000 x 2000 x 4000 mm with a precision of 1/1000 mm, enabling us to fully document and verify product quality. VMP employs 40 skilled, quality-conscious, and highly motivated professionals dedicated to delivering precision and reliability.
