I have been practicising as a Family solicitor since August 2000, after completing my training contract with a Family focus. My main areas of expertise now focus on the financial matters arising from a marital breakdown, with a strong emphasis on resolving issues regarding pensions. Between 2004 and 2013, I handled many divorces involving police officers and have substantial experience in dealing with public sector pension issues. I am an experienced court advocate, but am also committed to finding alternative solutions to resolving the issues upon relationship breakdown, through channels such as Mediation and Collaborative law. I still love to learn, but also enjoy sharing my experience with others. My future goals are to spend more time focusing on the more academic side of the law, by writing pertinent articles and also possibly combining my practice with some practical lecturing and teaching opportunities. I also hope to develop and progress my commitment to alternative dispute resolution techniques.
Highly experienced Family Solicitor, covering all areas of Family Law, but main focus on divorce, financial issues arising from the relationship breakdown and children issues. Expert in Public Sector Pension issues. Trained Collaborative lawyer and experienced court advocate.
