I have almost 20 years of sales and marketing experience in various industries. Starting my career in the leisure and tourism industry and internal sales, I went on to computer software sales and marketing and then tool hire where I was approached by a different division of the company and became Business Manager for the heater sales division. I was Business Development Manager at Bampton Packaging Limited and then Office Manager at Support Systems Ltd. I recently got asked to manage all marketing and internal sales at Nottingham so will soon be Head of Marketing & Internal Sales and I look forward to developing my skills further and working with a great team.

Our dedicated customer support team now offer a range of innovative labour saving systems along with technical support to assist with design and static load calculations. With our on-site fabrication workshop, we are able to provide frequent updates on the state of an order through design to manufacture and delivery. As Office Manager my role will be to support the management team and manage the office on a day to day basis. I look forward to learning new skills and developing my career further with a highly skilled team and within a well established and respected company.

As newly appointed Business Manager at Arcotherm, I am excited to begin a new journey. Looking at the business with a fresh pair of eyes I will be working closely with Director of Arcotherm; Andy Gilman to develop and grow the business further. I have thoroughly enjoyed my journey so far at Arcotherm. It has seen me take on new and challenging projects such as designing a new website, creating a social media platform for the business, designing adverts for a range of magazines, organising trade shows, increasing sales and meeting customers in the hope of building and growing relationships for the future. I will now be responsible for the management of day to day business and will work closely with Andy and the rest of the team to grow the business and improve the customer experience. A trip to Biemmedue in Italy earlier this year was a fantastic experience and one I am truly grateful for. It enabled me to get a complete picture of the business from start to finish. I started my role at Arcotherm in February last year and since then I have worked hard to learn as much as I can about a great business and of course more importantly our customers. In the short time I have been a part of the Arcotherm team, I have been involved in all aspects of sales; including social media, marketing, and events. I have also organised and attended trade shows which has given me a fantastic insight into the industry. Offering a 'One Stop Shop' Arcotherm can often despatch your heater, and/or ancillary items such as ducting, diffusers etc. the same day (stocked items only and on orders placed before 1pm). We continue to offer advice and support throughout the life of your heater and now have a technical service engineer who is on hand to answer questions and is available to service Arcotherm heaters on-site or at our location in Alfreton. Resource Coordinator for the Virtual Hire team at Hire Station; part of VP plc. My role involved supporting the team internally and supporting all external customers and partners of Virtual Hire. I was responsible for all aspects of marketing and POS, and dealt with all requests from stores/branches as well as internal customers. I communicated with partners regularly and also worked towards bringing new partners to the table. I looked after all sales via partners and online either via our website or other sites. I also dealt with any customer complaints and provided a superb level of customer service. I have a strong belief that with customer satisfaction comes a successful business. I negotiated with suppliers to keep costs down and generally provided the team with daily admin support. I built some strong relationships whilst working for the company including internally with colleagues and with suppliers, partners and customers. I was a flexible member of the team, and worked extremely hard to achieve targets and goals. I was often asked to proof read documentation and have a keen eye for detail. Since starting my role at Hire Station, I have been lucky to work with a great team and develop existing skills whilst learning many new skills. I will continue to work hard and hope to develop my skills further to perhaps achieve promotion or possibly lead a small team.
Employed as a Marketing Executive within a small team my role included; involvement in all aspects of marketing, writing newsletters, sending out mail shots, emails and letters to existing customers and prospects to advertise the company and promote the software, contacting customers and suppliers via telephone, working with the team internally to improve communication within the company and to customers, building relationships, attending meetings, creating financial reports and contact spreadsheets, running reports, case studies, press releases, business proposals, and other administrative and customer service duties.
