About

Passionate about sharing the benefits of music with a large variety of people I have followed a educational path in music performance and currently half way through a Masters in Music. I have experience is working in many roles within music from academic, performance and teaching, proven through awards and scholarships. The benefits and uses of music being so varied, I am eager to encourage the use of music and the arts for all ages. Music Therapy greatly interests me and I am hopeful to return to study this subject in a few years, when I have had some experience in this field. I have also over the years privately taken on pupils. The challenge and thorough enjoyment that comes with teaching and working with a variety of ages and people, has also driven to the possibility of a teaching career. To further my knowledge in both areas I studied Music Therapy and its limitations as my undergraduate dissertation, and currently for my Masters project I am investigating wind ensemble music, while also learning as much as possible practically and academically of the other woodwind instruments I did not already play.
