Quality Engineer on a back-end team that writes AWS micro-services. Helping the team build a wide and deep safety net for our services. Using Renovate, IntelliJ, Snyk, Sonarqube, Java and numerous AWS Services such as S3, Athena, Glue, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, SNS, SQS, lambdas and others.
Promoted to Advisory level I also worked on automating checks in a Windows technology stack using C# and Selenium.
I worked in a self organising agile team where I specialised in exploratory testing. I paired with team members on testing, backlog grooming and development tasks. Tools that I used to do my job included Pivotal Tracker, Postman, SoapUI, IntelliJ, IE11, Chrome, OWASP ZAP scanner, Python, Linux, Virtual box, Pivotal Cloud Foundry. I introduced #leancoffee sessions and ran them regularly to give the team a forum to discuss issues.
