- Acts as thought partner to the Supply Chain and Operations Practice Group on strategically important client engagements. - Develops and maintains internal and external network to gather industry insights and/or source for candidate solutions as part of business development and assignment execution. - Highlights key trends and insights for business development and marketing purposes. Makes them actionable and is pro-active in developing IP for the Supply Chain Practice Group. - Leads / manages global projects (research, pitch preparation, etc.) by setting the work plan and holding the client team (Consultants, Researchers and EAs) accountable against agreed expectations. - Creates, overseas and ensures quality / completeness of client materials including: role specs, mapping reports, progress reports and candidate reports as appropriate. - Curates knowledge management for best-in-class talent, companies, IP, pitch packs and more - Mentors and develops researchers locally or across a region by having regular touch points. - Participates in Assessment and Development projects as appropriate (e.g. referencing candidates).
In addition to my responsibilities in the Supply Chain Practice, I have been given the opportunity to serve as the Houston Office Champion. In this role, I focus on fostering the local office community and play an active role in supporting and creating the local culture. This includes: - Keep day to day pulse on the team by “walking the halls” and talking to the team - Celebrate team wins and recognizes individual achievements to boost morale and engagement - Welcome and engage new joiners - Build rapport and relationships based on credibility, commitment and transparency - Work with the Office Leader and Office Administrator to lead initiatives to promote employee engagement and the DE&I strategy for the office - Promote firm values and represent the firm in front of the team
Research & Project Management - Owns and drives executive recruiting projects, providing strategic guidance and advice on the execution, and delivery while advising on real-time industry trends and insights. - Ensures deadlines are met for client deliverables and prepares discussion topics, such as generating market insight, feedback presentations and progress reports. Engages with the external market, as appropriate, to develop market and candidate insights. - Uses qualitative information to clearly communicate and present data/details to influence decisions. - Analyzes and quickly breaks down new industries, market segments, and competitive landscapes in order to better understand the clients’ needs and apply intel to research strategies and decision making. - Develops and executes outside-the-box research strategies in multiple disciplines/domains simultaneously while managing a high volume of information and projects. - Creates high-quality client reports and presentations Knowledge Management - Contributes to the Firm’s knowledge management activities by finding opportunities to share expertise and best practices both within and outside of the Supply Chain Practice. - Builds knowledge in supply chain and broader operations through proactive market research.
