Yes, I can architect systems, debug the impossible, and occasionally write code that my future self won't curse at. But what I've really learned after 20 years in this field is that great software happens when smart people actually talk to each other (revolutionary, I know). I lead engineering teams by creating environments where people can do their best work without the BS that usually gets in the way. That means clear communication, genuine collaboration, and the radical idea that developers are humans who do better work when they're not miserable.
