During my time here I specialised in recruitment within the Managed Print and IT arena due to my previous experience. I enjoy networking, and the challenge of matching a candidates wish list and skillset with the clients and vice versa.
Life works in mysterious ways... I kind of fell into this role as a stop gap after completing my teaching degree, but it was a great company to be a part of and the corporate culture and emphasis on personal development in the workplace ensured I stuck around a lot longer... little did I know I would stay in the industry to date! I was a Customer Account Manager for Local Government and other key accounts for the company's Managed Print Services. This involved regular liaison with Customers, Sales team, Technicians, Contact Center, Credit control, and other internal stakeholders to resolve queries. I authorized contract set ups onto the CRM system. I was first in the department to achieve Team Coach status due to my excellent customer service, system knowledge, product and department expertise. As a Team coach I mentored new starters, and was the first point of contact for colleagues queries. I identified and addressed training needs for members of the team, and managed the team in the Manager's absence. I Analyzed statistical reports for the department and planned the weeks tasks to best achieve KPI's and team targets. I attended regular meetings with various departments, and represented my team in manager's meetings. I was also involved in the recruitment process on a number of occasions, assisting with both face to face and telephone Interviews and with the recruitment workshops.... which nicely paved the way for a slight career change to cater for my flexible working requirements as I balanced work and caring for my children.
I worked here for 2 consecutive summer's whilst completing my degree at university. I was responsible for answering customer's queries; liaising with both the sales team and engineers to resolve queries and provide support regarding new and existing customer's accounts. This involved some product knowledge, and use of 2 CRM systems as the company had under gone a system change. I completed all general admin duties, and managed the mailshot promotional project.
My first introduction to Sales. It was tough! I developed phone skills and resiliance and quickly realised business to consumer 'one off' product sales was not what I wanted to do- I like to build relationships! Working on top of doing my degree with a qualified professional status was busy, but I learnt to not only work hard, but also prioritise.
