Instructions made the assembly process for employees more efficient and easier by providing both text instructions with visuals. • Redesigned entire process for filling out Quality Team forms for assembly procedures from paper to digital, including implementing the visual work instructions into the company-utilized software. Wrote a VBA program to extract the data and produce a printable form for the customer. This digitalization of the forms allowed for the Quality Team to find problems, produce the form packets, and ship the valves more quickly. • Solved various tooling problems while on-site. Solutions ranged from selecting new bandsaw blades to cut Inconel and Stellite, selecting a protective sleeving for precision machined parts, and designing a system to detect the amount of time an electrode oven lost power for the nuclear industry.

    Performed duties of a Field/Office Engineer I for TIC Southern, a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation, as part of the Gulf Coast Growth Ventures, LLC project constructing one of the largest plastics manufacturing facilities in the U.S. including: • Tracking installed quantities, performing takeoffs and estimating for bidding purposes, creation of as-built drawings using AutoCAD, ordering materials, dealing with site turnover and the client, obtaining permits, creation and completion of necessary documents, and sending out site-wide emails to ensure operations on the site run smoothly and that the client is satisfied with the quality of our product. • Performing calculations for monorail load testing, as well as creating and filling out all necessary paperwork for the tests so the monorails can be sold off to the client. • Working as part of a team with general foreman and foreman, ensuring their crews have all the necessary supplies and material to perform all required duties. • Obtaining required training including confined space, commissioning permit to work and lock-out tag-out to help out the crews in the field run efficiently and safely.
