Assisted in the management of existing journals through administrative and research support. Prepared the regular publishing update reports covering a wide range of performance measures. Provided regular data reports and analytics to support and develop Journal strategies. Organized meetings, attending and taking minutes as appropriate, undertaking catering, travel, and room booking arrangements, and the paying of expenses. Ensured journal home pages were up to date. Maintained relevant and appropriate gratis subscriptions across a list of titles. Assisted in the acquisition process with the preparation of proposals. Worked with other Journals departments to accomplish tasks and enhance communications between NY, Cary, and Oxford, UK. In addition, I worked on special projects as needed.
Provided customer service, processed orders, and contacted classified advertising prospects. I coordinated with the proofreader and executed edits. I flowed and formatted classified ads into InDesign during print production of the magazine. In addition to this, I formatted, styled, and posted online classified ads. I regularly contacted prospects for online job listings, and administered job listings on pw.org and in the e-newsletter. I generated and sent classified advertising invoices, and performed general accounts receivable tasks.
