As Chief Communications Officer at FCA, she leads the development of integrated communications initiatives that enhances FCA’s brand reputation and identity, broaden awareness of FCA’s programs and priorities, and increase FCA’s visibility across key stakeholders.
Responsible for cultivating and advancing FCA's public awareness, as well as relationships with brands, agencies, vendors, and relevant constituents that support FCA's mission and work.
I am responsible for overseeing internal and external communications for Newsday Media Group. Among my responsibilities are: Develop and implement communication and media plans for projects and events. Draft talking points and coaching Newsday Media Group leadership and employees. Promote key initiatives for Newsday Media Group by growing and strengthening relationships with key community organizations and leaders. Manage response to incoming national, regional and trade media requests by serve as the organization’s media liaison. Build and foster relationships with regional and national media to establish Newsday Media Group journalists as a go-to source for news and information. Manage all internal and employee communications.
I was charged with identifying new distribution partners for Credit.com via television, radio, newspapers and online platforms. In addition, I managed Credit.com's social media presence on Twitter, Google +, LinkedIn and Facebook.
I wrote articles for a blog geared towards moms that covered a wide range of topics, including commentary, advice, interviews, humor, and product reviews.
As editor for the Long Island site of the Mamas Network, I managed a small staff of writers, edited/scheduled posts, coordinated social media & publicity outreach, and wrote articles on all things Long Island. During my time as editor, I doubled our social media, specifically on Twitter and Facebook.
