As part of the Canada East Financial Advisor Talent Acquisition team, reporting to the Canada East TA Lead, I was involved in: full process candidate management, screening candidates, conducting phone interviews, coordinating interviews, planning and coordinating events, initiating background checks, reporting, interacting with hiring managers on a regular basis and more. I also maintained a high level of service and support to my team, internal clients, and backup support to the GTA and Canada West TA teams as needed.
Reported to the Eastern Canada Regional Recruitment Leader • Successfully providing high volume full cycle recruitment support for all permanent, contract, temporary and co-op student positions within Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Regions, along with B.C. and Prairies Regions when needed; • Direct sourcing for strategic hires; • Engaging students and possible new candidates by attending career / job fairs and creating high energy interactive employer information sessions at selected Universities; • Enthusiastically participating in other related projects with the Recruitment and HR teams.
Contract position providing HR support for external Hamilton Health Sciences hospitals employees regarding: • Employee benefits, vacation and seniority accruals, payroll additions and deductions, HRIS, recruitment and other HR related inquiries.
Short term contract. Providing ongoing and communicative support: • Processing employer based claim forms related to WSIB reports; • Ensuring all forms and other documentation was complete and sent to all parties in a timely manner; • Continuous communication with employees, WSIB representative and other parties when necessary to ensure all claim data was received.
