Pixel Union is a leading design agency known for themes, apps, ecommerce and custom digital solutions. One of my major initiatives at Pixel Union was the development of an inclusive recruitment process to reflect and respond to social diversity and provide equitable access for employment opportunities on our team. • Full cycle recruitment for technical, design, support, and leadership roles, from analyzing needs to writing job descriptions, through to hiring and onboarding. • Acted as the key ambassador for employer brand and compass for company culture. • Developed policies, procedures and strategies to build and continually improve the employee experience. • Managed HQ office operations and team hardware and tools.
Still Life is an independently owned retail boutique, spanning two brick and mortar locations and an online store. • Led a team of sales associates, with a focus on hiring and retention, employee engagement, and fostering workplace culture. • Implementated human resource and organizational memos and policies. • Processed administrative functions including payroll, monthly sales invoicing and budgeting, and reconciling utilities and expenses.
