With experience in international hospitality environments such as JW Marriott, I have developed a strong foundation in service operations and cross-cultural communication. These experiences led me to a broader interest in how global organizations operate. I am currently pursuing an MBA to deepen my understanding of business strategy, management, and human capital development. I am seeking opportunities within international organizations where I can contribute, learn, and grow in environments that prioritize people, performance, and long-term impact.
Xin chào các bạn, I'm Kim Chi, you can also call me Kathy! I’m from Vietnam and with a background in Hospitality Management, I’ve always had a passion for creating warm, welcoming experiences for others. Helping people is at the heart of who I am, whether it’s supporting my peers with university-related questions or simply sharing advice about student life, living in Australia, or navigating everyday challenges. At JCU, I hope to be someone you can reach out to when you need a friendly chat, practical guidance, or just a bit of reassurance. Together, we’ll make your journey here not only successful but also meaningful and memorable. I’m looking forward to connecting with you and being a part of your JCU story! 🌟
During my 4-month internship and also is my very first internship in college, it was an honor to work with such a talented team in the Food & Beverage department at Le Méridien Saigon. I am deeply grateful for the guidance and support I received from my colleagues, which helped me transition from theoretical knowledge to practical application. This experience allowed me to develop essential skills in customer service, attention to detail, and adherence to F&B standards. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone at Le Méridien Saigon for providing me with this invaluable opportunity to grow and learn in hospitality industry.
