I work where climate, data and finance meet, and I spend most of my time trying to answer a simple question: what does this actually mean for cashflows, portfolios and balance sheets. I care about measuring problems accurately before anyone gets too excited about solutions. My background is in technology delivery, data, AI and process design across capital markets, asset management, reinsurance and energy. I use models and machine learning as tools to turn noisy, complex systems into numbers that people can act on and defend in front of a risk committee or a regulator. I stay involved in applied research as an Industry Associate at the UCL Centre for Blockchain Technologies, and I enjoy mentoring and the occasional talk, especially when it helps others bridge the gap between climate ambition and financial reality. Outside work, I stay grounded through mental health advocacy, drones, photography and numismatics. It is an odd mix, but it keeps me curious and paying attention, which in this space is probably more important than sounding clever.
