About

I'm a recent alumna of Emerson College with experience in print, audio, and video journalism. Topics I have covered include the independent music scene, local businesses, local events, and racial and ethnic identity. My background in editing started at HowlRound, a publication that spotlights progressivism in theater, where I worked as a publishing assistant. I was responsible for formatting podcast transcripts to align with HowlRound's style guide and copyediting articles submitted by contributors. At The Conversation U.S., I edited articles by academic scholars so that general audiences understand their research. My aspiration as a journalist is to write, produce, and edit stories that highlight the lives of people who do not have the privilege of being listened to. I believe that the public is informed when the news covers all individuals in the community.
