I am a hard working young professional currently working on the cutting edge of EUV technology for the world leader in the photolithography industry. My roll within ASML is to test, repair and integrate the EUV Scanner into the customer fab as smoothly, efficiently and safely as possible. I travel to ASML's multiple customer locations around the world with a large team of multinational engineers to install the NXE scanner on site. The role is very challenging and no two days of installation and troubleshooting are the same. There are a lot of responsibilities as shift lead including, The safety of my colleagues in the fab during shift. Clear communication between opposite shifts and the team working at the local office on the status of the machine. Providing updates and working with the local office and the support team to solve ongoing issues. Co-operating with the customer on a regular basis. The administration that comes with travelling 70% of the time. The work is fast paced, rewarding and requires a particular kind of engineer who is dedicated to the job, can troubleshoot effectively, and work excellently within a team. Outside of working I am a massive rugby fan, supporting Leinster and Ireland. To keep fit I do rock climbing in my spare time. Travelling is also a big passion of mine as I enjoy the experience of trying new food, culture and of course meeting new people.
