The initial six month engagement tuned into another six month engagement looking after the Leading Edge eCommerce businesses and overall responsibility for Group Marketing. I am tasked with * Driving efficiencies through communication, technology, IT and marketing and partnering with suppliers to enhance the range suitability and profitability of our offering to members. * Operational management to determine work priority across the team; setting clear objectives and implementing changes to improve productivity, increase efficiency and manage marketing plans. * Relationship management for key internal and external customers, members, supplier groups and management of the supplier relationships * Business Growth & Sustainability via recruitment of new members and implementing retention strategies to enhance longevity of relationships * Profitability - driving the annual planning, budgeting and forecasting activities and ensuring profitability * People Management & Leadership and building an environment where people are engaged and constantly striving to achieve outstanding performance and results and to lead and develop the team.
Operating since 2010, with over 15,000 sporting and health & wellness focussed products offered online, OnSport is an Australian based e-tail business with a myriad of connected Marketplaces such as catch, Amazon, kogan and ebay and partnerships such as Medibank. My role oversaw all facets of the operation, from staffing to strategy, from marketing to managing our 3PL partner. I provided hands-on management for all our key product and service suppliers and partners and was responsible for running a team of merchandise, buying and marketers based in Australia. I also oversaw a team of offshore resources providing support for customer service, web development, online content and item management.
