About

Not being able to make it to medicine felt like the end of my lifelong dream to help others. That setback was major, but it forced a vital shift in my perspective. Realizing that treating illness isn't the only way to help others, being able to support my community through nutrition and food security is just as important. This fueled my passion into Biological Sciences and Future Food at NTU, bringing with me the resilience and operational skills I gained during two years in the public sector. Instead of diagnosing patients, I am now focused on diagnosing and improving our food systems. As the Vice President of the NTU Food Science and Technology Society, I actively bridge the gap between students and industry realities. Whether organizing the 7th Annual Food Symposium or leading visits to Yakult and Kok Fah Farm, I strive to promote sustainable bio-entrepreneurship. I am passionate about food innovation because I believe creating resilient, science-backed nutritional solutions is the key to combating tomorrow’s global health challenges.
