I am a final year medical student with a passion for innovation, community care, and research. My experiences across diverse healthcare settings have strengthened my commitment to patient centred care and enhanced my ability to connect with patients while exploring progressive solutions for their well being. Throughout medical school, I’ve developed a particular interest in women’s health, paediatrics, and general practice, fields where I’ve valued building long-term relationships with patients, tailoring care across life stages, and understanding the social and cultural context of health. During my BSc, I worked on a dissertation in microfluidics under the mentorship of Dr. Ali Yetisen and the Chemical Engineering team, developing microfluidic channels for contact lens sensors. I also explored the role of GLP-1 in regulating dopamine’s effects on appetite and investigated the bidirectional link between diabetes and periodontitis. These projects deepened my biomedical understanding and sharpened my research skills. I am keen to further explore opportunities in primary care, research, and medical education. If you’re interested in connecting or discussing potential collaborations, please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected]
