Currently employment at Fortinet. Pre-Sales System Engineer/SEIII. I am responsible for Major enterprise accounts within my territory. As an SEIII my role help guide and covey corporate messaging based on pain points and security gaps from what a customer is looking to achieve. Working withing the Majors, there are many moving parts that need to align to complete and execute a purchase order. Within my role, I provide custom onsite training for customers as well as engage with any PoV/PoC. With 10+ years of security experience I make sure to always follow best practices and apply out of the box thinking. Working wih the GSI's, Partners and the customer to deliver Enterprise Agreements/ ELA's. Within the last few years I have begun handling large OT/ICS customers in the Gas Control, Renewable energy, Propane and Pharmaceuticals.
Implement, and maintain network security policy, standards, and procedures. Deploy and maintain access-list and firewall policies for high throughput environments. Implement firewall, VPN, and IDS/IPS solutions for data center environments. Create proof of concepts within sensitive environments. Become the trusted adviser.
As an Associate Security Engineer I was tasked to deploy proof of concepts within organizations to monitor passing traffic. I trained partners on how to deploy Check Point's products in a secure best practice scenario including High Avalability, deploying IPS, Anti-bot, Anti-malware, Emulation, AWS, Azure, Vmware, NSX, and in checkpoints (VS) Virtual systems. I have also Created whiter board sessions to educate on the deployment of security gateways.
Worked along with the System Admin, Network Admin, and Security Admin. In developing VDI (virtual Desktop Infrastructures) scenarios for the students to practice ACL's and Cisco configurations. I created all the student accounts for the CST (Computing Security Technology) students with AD and deployed Linux boxes around the school.
