I am a public policy student with experience in research, stakeholder engagement, and impact-driven program development. My work focuses on urban governance, municipal finance, e-governance, and civic issues, where I collaborate with diverse stakeholders to strengthen evidence-based policy and improve urban systems. I have led research studies, flagship reports, and developed consultation frameworks that translate complex data into actionable insights for policymakers and communities. My experience also includes designing and implementing monitoring & evaluation (M&E) frameworks and creating data visualizations that make complex findings accessible to diverse audiences. With a strong interest in urban policy and planning, I am passionate about advancing equity, citizen participation, and data-driven approaches to shaping inclusive urban futures.
1. Conducted stakeholder engagement visits with Navi Mumbai and Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporations as part of a Municipal Finance Report covering six cities in Maharashtra, assessing e-governance and financial frameworks. 2. Conducted a municipal finance and e-governance study in Kochi Municipal Corporation for a national study spanning 43 Indian cities, directly engaging with government stakeholders for data validation and qualitative insights. 3. Worked on Praja’s flagship report, "Status of Civic Issues in Mumbai", including RTI-based data collection, analysis, drafting, visualization, and coordination with ward offices and government departments. 4. Supported design of the GIZ–Praja Municipal Finance Report. 5. Developed 28 state-level consultation presentations for the Urban Governance Index (UGI) 2.0 and facilitated UGI 2.0 workshops in five Mumbai colleges, fostering youth awareness and engagement in urban governance. 6. Supervised and mentored interns and fellows, overseeing research, ensuring quality control, and building capacity to strengthen programmatic work and publications.
1. Designed data collection tools and contributed to the implementation of evaluation frameworks through surveys, interviews, FGDs, and transect walks with farming communities in Sangli, Maharashtra. 2. Conducted in-depth literature reviews and secondary research to inform grant proposals, assess project feasibility, and identify global best practices across thematic areas. 3. Drafted concept notes, proposals, and impact reports, including key components such as executive summaries, problem statements, methodologies, budgets, timelines, and M&E frameworks. 4.
