I lead the people and organisation strategy at Y Group, reporting to the MD & CEO. My role goes beyond traditional HR, it’s deeply integrated with business planning, risk management, and governance. Y Group operates across corporate offices, branches, manufacturing units, and project sites. My mandate is to ensure this growth is supported by the right leadership capability, workforce governance, and scalable HR systems. A key priority is reducing dependency on individuals by institutionalising roles, performance frameworks, and decision governance. I work across the full spectrum of strategic HR: workforce architecture, capability building, succession readiness, compliance, employer branding, HR automation, and engagement. My focus is on making people decisions - hiring, promotions, rewards, leadership appointments - system-driven rather than discretionary. With 13+ years of experience spanning manufacturing, industrial services, power, auto components, and corporate sectors, I’ve led large-scale HR transformation programmes covering performance management, leadership development, HR digitisation, and policy governance. Prior to Y Group, I worked with Eastman Auto & Power, Best International, and Luxor Writing Instruments, partnering with senior leadership during periods of expansion and organisational transition. I hold an MBA in Human Resources from Symbiosis Pune, and have completed a Leadership Development Program from XLRI Jamshedpur. I’m certified in SAP SuccessFactors. I’m passionate about building organisations where safety, accountability, and values drive every decision.
