I am a Senior Office Assistant at the Department of Child, Family and Adult Services (DCFA), where I provide administrative and customer service support to the staff and clients. I have a Bachelor's degree in Ethnic Studies from California State University-Sacramento, where I learned about the diverse cultures, histories, and issues of various ethnic groups in the US and beyond. I have strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills, which I apply to my daily tasks and interactions. In my current role, I greet customers, answer questions, dispense and receive documents, calm angry customers, and proofread and spell check various documents. I work with a team of dedicated and compassionate professionals who strive to improve the lives of children, families, and adults in our community.
