-Developing a prototype for an early stage, pre-release mobile productivity app. -Collaborating with co-founders to achieve goals and push for eventual release.
-Designed systems for a fully autonomous sailboat designed to sail from Victoria, BC to Maui, Hawaii. -Used weather data to develop path-planning algorithms in C++ and Python on global and local scales. -Integrated AIS and GPS data with path-planning modules using ROS.
-Oversaw production deployment, collaborated with QA and Product to ensure successful releases. -Developed automation solutions for DevOps duties to maximize production and minimize blockage. -Deployed AWS Lambdas to fully monitor server processes and logs from multiple sources. -Collaborated with developers to deploy a new application from test servers to production, including preparing environments and debugging issues.
-Led lab sessions to assist students in applying basic computer science principles, as well as aspects of data structures, algorithms, and use of data acquisition modules. -Hosted office hours and assisted in lectures to help students better understand these concepts.
