Technical team member delivering cloud infrastructure to support the companies kubernetes hosted micro service applications. Day to day includes engineering project work to deliver improvements and new technologies in a fully infrastructure-as-code cloud native environment. Delieverables are across multiple cloud providers enabling a 'multi cloud' solution where appropriate. The role also includes general operations work and incident triage.
Reporting to the CTO, I am responsible for the planning and prioritisation of work across a team of six staff spanning the Platform Engineering team and the companies IT Support team. All work is planned and delivered in an Agile framework using Kanban or Scrum techniques where appropriate. Additionally I remain part of the Platform Engineering technical resource.

These platforms included large scale storage clusters at the multi petabyte scale, HPC clusters, a private Openstack Cloud platform and associated tertiary services (inc VmWare and multiple web services). Primary lead in the development of the sections automation and management stacks.
