• Developed features to the company’s web application and dashboard using Django web framework, python 2.7, HTML5, CSS3 (Bootstrap), JavaScript, and MySQL. • Utilized Linux (Ubuntu) for hardware integration, Git/SourceTree for code development, and learned to work in a team environment to further advance the company.
• Working to improve synthesis methods and develop new PET tracers used in PET scans. • Methods include development of more efficient synthetic pathways to label radiopharmaceutical molecules for cancer diagnostics; Developing electrochemical regioselective synthesis techniques and platforms for direct nucleophilic [18F] fluorination; Electrochemically assisted solvent exchange and automated flow-through synthesizers. • Performed experiments using radioactive Fluroine-18 (18F) and analyzed chemical products using HPLC, Mass spectroscopy, and UV spectroscopy.
• Research in developing lens-less microscopy using LED light and holographic imaging techniques in order to collect and analyze bovine sperm cells, funded by Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI). • Responsibilities include preparation of bovine sperm cells using cell centrifugation technique, capturing live sperm image data, and utilization of MATLAB software to test and develop 3D reconstruction algorithm. • Publication: Label-free 3D computational imaging of spermatozoon locomotion, head spin and flagellum beating over a large volume (Light: Science & Application, Aug 16, 2017)
