    Imperator Interactive creates and publishes artwork with augmented reality (AR) animation, blending print and digital to build immersive, cross-media stories. Its debut graphic novel, Ophidian (autumn 2022), was exhibited at the San Francisco Comic Con. The book follows unlikely group of heroes resisting an apocalyptic prophecy in a hidden underworld. The AR companion app, Imperator AR, provides over ten minutes of hand animated content, expanding the narrative with extra scenes, perspective shifts, and insight into the characters.
