I managed the Development Engineering section within Public Works Department with a permanent staff of two and many consultant engineers. I over saw the engineering review and approval of the design of new City streets, water, sewer and storm drainage facilities and all improvement drawings connected with residential, commercial, office and large master planned development projects. I was the responsible engineer through every stage of the CEQA approvals from Environmental Impact Report, Tentative Map stages, to the issuance permits and final construction approvals. I review the various traffic and utility infrastructure studies, prepared the engineering section conditions of approval and development agreements. I review all engineering design and improvement plans and specifications for new City streets, sewer, water and storm drain lines and other utilities connected with development.
