As Managing Director and Chief Information Officer at Hellios Information since October 2020, I lead the organization in delivering innovative technology management and supportive services. With extensive experience in technology leadership, my focus lies in driving secure cloud-native modernization and operational excellence. With over five years at Hellios Information, my mission is to enable scalable and secure digital transformation within regulated environments. Leveraging my credentials, including CISSP, CEH, and CCNA, I work to enhance technology frameworks and processes that align with organizational goals while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
The main tasks of this project are to research, evaluate and plan a large-scale data and system transformation. Migrate existing systems to a Cloud Service Provided (Azure) and implement CI\CD and other DevOps practices. It also involves evaluating and improving software development practices, QA, Data Security and Disaster Recovery practices. Design and implement big data solutions and practices.
The task was to assess the technical capability of the Engineering Department, resolve some fundamental issues and implement improvements. Also, redesign the applications platform to improve reliability, scalability and cost.
Managed a number of geographically distributed engineering teams. Implemented Scrum, Devops, CI\CD, designed microservice environment for service delivery, designed and implemented a Data Analytics Platform. Implemented Kubernetes, Traefik and Kemp.
Established a new software architecture team spanning 5 geographical locations to provide architectural standards, technical guidance and governance to the software engineering group which delivers travel-related transaction platform and mobile applications to multinational travel clients that included services providers, airlines and hotel groups.
