About

I'm a hands-on, results-oriented IT executive with 25+ years of end-to-end technology leadership at small-to-mid-sized Consumer Packaged Goods companies — dairy, smoked seafood, spirits, and food & beverage. I'm currently open to my next opportunity, ideally as CIO or Head of IT at a small-to-mid-sized CPG company where my hands-on style and end-to-end experience can make an outsized difference. Equally comfortable serving as CIO of a $325M family-held food processor and as a senior IT leader at a $19B global CPG. Proven success driving private-equity carve-outs, ERP transformations, M&A integrations, supply chain and manufacturing modernization, cyber security, data and analytics, and IT operations stabilization. What I do: • Build, transform, and modernize IT functions in CPG environments — applications, infrastructure, cyber, service delivery, data and analytics, and the team itself. • Lead private-equity carve-outs, M&A integrations, and Transition Service Agreement (TSA) exits — most recently Horizon Organic's carve-out from Danone under Platinum Equity. • Select and implement ERP and core business systems (Infor M3 CloudSuite Food & Beverage, SAP ECC, Oracle Financials, Workday, ADP), and rationalize sprawling application portfolios. • Stand up supply chain, manufacturing (MES, OT/IT, cyber compliance), and e-commerce capabilities — and make them work together. • Partner with CEOs, CFOs, Boards, PE sponsors, executive teams, and PE operating partners so technology is a value driver rather than a back-office afterthought. Where I've done it: • Horizon Organic Dairy (Platinum Equity carve-out from Danone) — Director, IT D2D • Acme Smoked Fish Corp. (~$325M, family-held, 4 plants) — Chief Information Officer • Diageo (~$19B global CPG) — VP Global Diageo Business Services NA / Sr. Director Portfolio Delivery • Earlier: General Electric (CIO, GE Capital Market Services), HBO (Director of Financial Systems), The Travelers. How I lead: high energy, fair, open, hands-on. I build high-performance teams, coach and motivate, and I'm comfortable being both strategic with the board and tactical on the plant floor. Industries: Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Food & Beverage, Dairy, Spirits, Smoked Seafood; earlier in Financial Services, Entertainment, and Insurance. Let's connect if you're a CPG company, a PE firm with a CPG portfolio company, or an executive search partner working on CIO, Head of IT, VP, or Director-level technology roles.
