Summit Security Services was a $76 million / 5,000 employee, Fortune 1000 focused contract security and investigations firm, acquired by Allied Universal. Recruited by Summit’s CFO (a consulting client) for a 1-year FTE contract (extended to 2-years) to overhaul sales & marketing and turn around steadily declining revenue. Restructured the sales process, personnel, recruiting, territories, compensation, performance standards, marketing & the RFP process. Improved performance & strategically developed Summit to move into higher margin services, positioning Summit for their successful sale to Allied Universal. ► Reversed a 5-year sales decline & increased revenue 19% ($64 million to $76 million), in 2-years. ► Personally generated & closed the MTA’s $30 million Anti-terrorism Center operations outsourcing contract (24/7/365, 250 seat, Lockheed Martin constructed facility, monitoring an advanced technology facial recognition software CCTV network protecting New York City).
