Designed ADAS system with cameras, lidar, radar, and software to assess situational danger and assist first-responders. Generated and automatically labelled large object detection image datasets using CARLA simulation software. Trained, validated, and integrated state of the art object detection neural networks (YOLO, CenterNet, SSD, etc) in CARLA in real time to detect pedestrians, vehicles, traffic lights, and traffic signs up to 300 meters away.
Enhanced software and hardware radio decoding modules for satellite communication. Developed communication modules for various ground stations for satellite operations using asyncio. Analyzed and visualized downlink data for operator analysis using SQLAlchemy.
