Hello! I'm Kevin Li, a student currently enrolled in Laurier's Double Degree Program, pursuing a Bachelors of Business Administration and a Bachelors in Computer Science. This unique education equips me with a robust and versatile understanding of both the technology and business field in the modern world. Having a strong background in computer science has refined my programming skills, especially in languages such as Java, Python, and SQL, as well as exposed me to several frameworks and developer tools used in software development. Combined with my passion for solving complex problems with optimal solutions, I am eager to break into the tech industry and begin contributing my knowledge. My program provides me with the opportunity to explore my passion for Business Administration as well. I started my own Non-Profit Organization in 2021, and am currently in development of my own start-up. My specific interest is in Quantitative Finance, as I am fascinated by how data can optimize financial strategies and risk management. Furnished with multiple job experiences at companies such as Canada Goose and Cedar Fair, I have cultivated several soft skills such as leadership, collaboration, and time management. I easily adapt to work environments and cultures, and can seamlessly integrated myself into existing teams, or build strong relationships with new groups.
