Currently Head of Translational Medicine at Revolution Medicines, leading a group of biomarker and computational scientists to identify predictive biomarkers and develop companion diagnostics for novel RAS inhibitors (KRAS, NRAS, HRAS) across solid tumors. Previously, led the translational medicine and diagnostic efforts that resulted in the successful accelerated approval of the PARP inhibitor rucaparib and the first-ever NGS-based companion diagnostic test. Extensive experience in designing, performing, analyzing, and integrating high-throughput genomic data.
- Head Translational Medicine function, which consists of Clinical Biomarker Development, Clinical Bioinformatics, Clinical Biomarker Operations, and Precision Medicine & Companion Diagnostics.
- Prioritize tumor types and patient identification strategy for RevMed clinical studies - Oversee clinical biomarker sample testing and analysis to assess molecular response and to characterize primary and acquired resistance to RAS(ON) inhibitors - Develop companion diagnostic strategy for the RAS(ON) programs
- Head development of predictive biomarkers and companion diagnostics across early and late-stage programs - Collaborate with functional heads of clinical development/operations, regulatory, biostatistics, global medical affairs, commercial to advance clinical pipeline and drive adoption of approved therapies and companion diagnostics
- Collaborated with translational medicine leads from BMS and Genentech for biomarker testing in clinical studies of combination of PARP inhibitors and PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors. - Biomarker/diagnostic lead for developing rucaparib in ovarian and pan-tumor studies. - Determined FAP-positive solid cancers using immunohistochemistry to aid in selection of cancer types for clinical development of FAP-2286 targeted radionuclide therapy program.
- Led predictive biomarker and companion diagnostic efforts for the rucaparib ovarian program. - Identified molecular biomarkers for selecting patients for clinical testing of rucaparib across solid tumors.
