Our lives are often shaped and defined by our surroundings. I love to make new memories and collect experiences as if they were badges by exploring exciting places and constantly working to learn and grow. My life so far has been split between three homes: I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, went to school in Los Angeles at UCLA while Electrical Engineering, and worked in Hwaseong, South Korea following my studies. My goal when living in a new place is to find all the hidden restaurant gems that seem empty all the time but have regulars of 10+ years. Currently, I am working at Apache Corporation to find ways to leverage data and create real impact in the industry. This can be from finding areas that can be optimized to save, or from exploring new technologies to stay on the cutting edge. Built and deployed a multimodal AI education platform (Learning Bunny) on dual NVIDIA L40s. Spanned document summarization, format-preserving translation, RAG-based chat, and an AI-driven video pipeline that automatically segments long-form content (lectures, tutorials) into structured learning tracks via joint vision and audio analysis. Engineered production LLM infrastructure via FastAPI/Docker with KV cache and memory optimization across multiple OSS models (Gemma-Translate, GPT-OSS-20B, Qwen2.5-Omni); maintained a lightweight RAG system supporting thousands of documents locally. Partnered with internal sales, presales, and marketing teams and engaged directly with customers to identify AI pain points and scope early-stage solutions.
Automate invoice ingestion and optimize electrical meter usage, delivering over $2M in annual savings. Maintain and convert data pipelines to Snowflake from external APIs (ETL via Python) and existing internal databases (Trino, Palantir Foundry, etc. via dbt); build dashboards and data-ingestion apps via Streamlit and Sigma. Develop predictive time-series models to enhance production-to-power forecasting accuracy. Create agentic and RAG workflows using LangChain to streamline data retrieval from 200+ electrical meters. Achieved 2nd place at Palantir DevCon 1 for a computer vision classification tool built in the Foundry suite. Integrate LLM-backed tools into existing workflows, aiding in data visibility and improved field-response times.
Work with industry mentor to learn and deploy ML model from data procurement to web deployment. Data cleaning, analysis, and visualization through jupyter notebooks, pandas, and seaborn. ML modeling and evaluation: use various machine learning algorithms (regression and forest algorithms via scikit-learn, deep learning via PyTorch and TensorFlow). Deployment via Flask API, Docker, and AWS stack. Containerize working model into web application and deploy for public usage.
Language education and IT support for immersive English academy campus. Handled troubleshooting and problem support for proprietary learning platform across 20+ campus devices.
