I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Social Law at KU Leuven, where I study challenges in the pension system for local authorities in Belgium. My work builds years of research at the intersection of law, policy, and economics. My doctoral thesis at UCLouvain analyzed the impact of pension reforms on intergenerational justice under human rights law. I was also a fellow at the Chaire Excellence Pensions at UCLouvain, where I explored the interconnectivity and intergenerational dynamics of the Belgian local authorities’ pension system. My broader research interests extend to labor law in the platform economy and access to constitutional justice. In addition to my academic work, I have served as a consultant on pension reform in Colombia, an advisor to Congressmen, and a university professor. These roles have strengthened my skills in legislative analysis, team leadership, and effective communication.
